Colleen Bergquist

About The Author Colleen’s love of writing began in middle school where English was her favorite subject. She always wrote short stories in notebooks, and dreamed of writing a novel some day. An avid reader, she spent most of her childhood with her head in a book, often reading two and sometimes three books at a time-a habit that continues until this day. After starting and abandoning another novel, she is thrilled to finally publish one. A native of the Chicago area, Colleen has called the suburbs of Denver, Colorado home for nearly a decade. She lives with her husband, two sons, and two dogs. She has a masters in Elementary Education, and teaches full time. When she is not writing, she loves to read, crochet, and watch reruns of The Gilmore Girls. Stolen is her debut novel, and she is at work on the sequel, which will be released in the Winter of 2025.
