Craig Marshall Smith

Michigan-born curmudgeon, Craig Marshall Smith studied art and film history at UCLA, and received a BA in 1969 and an MFA in 1973, prior to a 30-year career as an art professor at three universities in three states; two he remembers, one he would rather not. Smith's paintings are in public and private collections around the world, including the Black Terrace restaurant in Tokyo, the Kirkland Museum in Denver, violinist Anne Akiko Meyers, and CB2 President Ryan Turf. While writing an opinion and humor column for 24 metro-Denver weekly newspapers, Smith was encouraged to write novels, which he has been doing for a number of years. They include Welcome to Granby, The Filling Station, and Where Is Mary Bergen? He lives with Harry, his fourth and final dachshund, in Colorado. Despite its name, Colorado is a Blue state. Thankfully.
