Craig P. Burrows

关于作者

Craig P. Burrows is a botanical photographer specializing in ultraviolet-induced visible fluorescence [UVIVF] photography. His work has been published in National Geographic Magazine and licensed by Apple, commissioned by international companies including Mānuka Health and Lycored, and exhibited many places worldwide including the Natural History Museum Toulouse, MoCA Taipei, and Artis-Groote Museum. His work with UVIVF imagery became a pathway to learn about nature and connect with like-minded people working in the fields of botany and ecology and by sharing it with others Burrows hopes to instill a similar interest and passion for the preservation of natural spaces in his viewers. "What The Bees See" is the first book featuring primarily his photography. Exploring the ideas of bees' vision, how bees interact with plants, and how their existence is imperative to the continued success of humanity, the book displays 70 of Burrows' UVIVF photographs depicting flowers and fragments of nature captured in particolored fluorescent light.
