I started out posting recipes and tips online for friends and family. It was a lot easier to share a URL than to type things over multiple times. From there things snowballed. Friends I had yet to meet began visiting my blog. I had fans. Boxes of meat arrived by USPS, and there were all sorts of outdoor cooking gadgets boxed up on my front porch. I had grills arriving by transfer truck and over thirty to rotate. The neighbors must have thought I had lost my find. I was out in the yard with tongs almost every night - even when it was snowing. Being the crazy grill lady next door really wasn't a stretch. My father was a passionate griller, always on a quest for the perfect fire starter. I learned to grill before I mastered any indoor dishes. A sale on charcoal is the best way to get me out to a store. I'd rather have a big rib eye steak than a box of candy. Yes. I do love outdoor cooking. And, I love helping others be successful with flames and food. I have now collected some of my favorite grill recipes along with tips based on over forty years of grilling. I hope you and your family will have as much fun cooking outdoors as my family and I have. You get way more than just food outdoors. You get memories that last a lifetime.
