D.L. Heather is an award-winning and bestselling poet of inspirational poetry books. Writing came into her life in her teens by way of therapy and the exploration of healing through journaling. Her writing is motivated by her experiences with childhood trauma, love, loss, healing, heartbreak, and self-discovery. Life Interrupted received a Reader's Favorite Finalist Award in 2022 in the Inspirational Poetry Category. Her writing has been featured in 'Let's Talk About Loss' and 'Wishbones Words' magazine.
