Having served in a variety of pastoral leadership roles in rural Canadian and suburban Asian and American churches in Canada and the United States since 1992, Scott has a burden for global leadership development in the local church and parachurch ministries. He holds a ThM in Pastoral Ministries from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Regent University. Currently serving as the director of Dallas Seminary's Doctor of Ministry (DMin) program his passion is to equip and empower executive, pastoral, and educational ministry leaders worldwide to impact the next generation for the cause of Christ. Scott enjoys writing, teaching, advising, and encouraging his students toward greater ministry effectiveness. He is married to his best friend, Debbie who is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and mother of their three children.
