Bible guy, "renaissance man" style career in both nice and nasty environments across three continents, driven to dig to the root of issues and their solutions. Writing about things learned through the crucible of life, and things I wish I knew in my 20's. God rightly says that in this life we "look in a mirror dimly". However that does not mean we have to stumble about blindly. My theology tracks the Westminster Confession, and I appreciate the seriousness of the Puritan writers. I am not really a theology guy, but more on a search to know God and listen and follow closely to what He says about everything. The answers to life's challenges are found in Him and in The Book. I have a bias toward more literal (accurate) translations, and believe that we should read the Bible in a straightforward and literal manner whenever possible.
