Dan Bird received his autism diagnosis aged twenty-seven, and in that moment so many of the challenges he'd experienced in his life made sense. Challenges he had encountered in his day-to-day life, and also when travelling, something he loves to do. Since his diagnosis with autism, he has learned a huge amount about himself and what it means for his life, including how he travels. He has had some incredible experiences across the globe, and both before and after his diagnosis, he has adapted the way he travels based on his specific needs and challenges. Dan has also found ways to harness his autistic strengths to make his overseas explorations more wholesome, memorable and personalised. Dan is a supply chain professional who lives remotely with his partner Matt. Dan is passionate about sharing the benefits of autism, and how individuals can leverage their autistic traits and capabilities to benefit their lives. Dan also loves animals, reality TV, country music and karaoke!
