Dan Jamison is a nationally recognized subject-matter expert on retirement benefits for federal employees, including law enforcement officers, firefighters, air traffic controllers and those persons covered under the Special Category Employee (SCE) provisions of FERS. He has authored the FERSGUIDE for over 25 years. Each year, the FERSGUIDE is updated and expanded to cover more topics of interest to federal agents. Two versions of the FERSGUIDE are available on Amazon, one for SCEs, and one for regular FERS employees. They are offered in paperback and Kindle formats. There is no other book on Amazon about federal employee retirement benefits that is more in-depth and comprehensive as the FERSGUIDE. The FERSGUIDE is a "living book," in that there is an "errata" page on www.fersguide.com where Dan posts replacement pages if there are any changes to federal benefits during the year. When that occurs, Dan also updates the underlying book text at Amazon, so Kindle users can see the updates as well. Dan does not offer financial-planning services nor does he offer tax-preparation services. Through FERSGUIDE, LLC, Dan’s CPA practice is devoted solely to the publication of the FERSGUIDE and to assisting individuals, mediators, and attorneys, with the division of federal retirement benefits pursuant to divorce. Dan earned a Master’s Degree in Accounting from The University of Florida and holds active CPA licenses in Florida (32 years) and Virginia (8 years).
