Most of these folks are adults but I'm really good with kids, as well. However, I have learned that most folks don't want to be professionals - they simply want to enjoy making their own music in their own way. Unfortunately, most music teachers expect you will want what your music instructor wants - to be a master of their chosen instrument. After all, there will always be people who give their lives to music, right? Thus, the real goal of too many music teachers is not the goal of their students. They don't ask what their students want to learn. I do. It's the easiest way to keep students. I prefer that THEY bring the goals and I bring the methodology to make sure they make it! What do you want from music? Chances are I've written a book about it by now. Now you might wonder why some of these books are so expensive. I mean 9.99 for a few. Well, it's far cheaper than a live teacher, who'll likely charge you that much for single lesson.
