Dana Goldstein is a journalist and the author of the New York Times bestseller "The Teacher Wars: A History of America’s Most Embattled Profession." She contributes to The Marshall Project, Slate, The New Republic, The Atlantic, the Times, and many other publications. She has received a Schwartz fellowship from the New America Foundation, a Spencer Foundation fellowship from Columbia University, and a Puffin fellowship from the Nation Institute.
