Daniel Andrés Rivera Rosado is an Ordination Candidate of the Disciples of Christ Church in Puerto Rico and is currently the Assistant Pastor of Christian Education at Iglesia Cristiana (Discípulos de Cristo) Metropolitana. He has a Bachelor in Sociology (University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus), a Masters of Divinity (Seminario Evangélico de Puerto Rico), and is currently a PhD in Education student at the University of Arizona Global Campus. Daniel has been involved in chaplaincy ministry for 10 years, working as High School Chaplain (Christian Nazarene Academy, Toa Baja), Spiritual Life Coordinator (Wesleyan Academy, Guaynabo), CPE Resident at Hospital San Francisco in San Juan, and currently Chaplain at Casa Metropolitana Elderly Home. He has 4 Units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPSP) and Certificates in Transformational Leadership, Thanatology, Church Administration, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Has been an active collaborator of theological education being a teaching assistant on courses of Biblical Interpretation and Faith and Culture (undergraduate), and a graduate teaching assistant of Christian Education and Homiletics at Seminario Evangélico. He is the author of "Misión Activa: El quehacer ministerial y liderazgo en la iglesia local" (Active Mission: Leadership and Ministry in the local church). Daniel's research interests are christian education, generational studies, faculty development, leadership studies in the church, chaplaincy, and pastoral care. He lives in Puerto Rico, is married to Desiré, has two corgis: Celeste & Ruby, loves to read and drinks a lot of coffee.
