Daniel Konstanski is a passionate, lifelong LEGO fan and the author of The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks, the first book published by the LEGO Group for Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs). Thanks to a collaborative working relationship with the team of in-house historians employed by the LEGO Group Daniel has been privileged to tell many stories from within LEGO Group itself and is considered one of the most knowledgeable and authoritative voices in the fan community on the company and its products. Along with the book, he has written hundreds of articles in his role as the US Editor for Blocks Magazine covering every aspect of the hobby. His dream job is to join the team of historians and be even closer to his favorite place on earth: The Vault in Billund where every LEGO set ever made is housed. When he is not tinkering on his latest LEGO project, rushing to meet the next never-ending Blocks Magazine deadline, or sorting more bricks down in the basement for the above mentioned, Daniel works as an environmental engineer and enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and bike riding with his wonderful wife and three kids on the trails near their home in Delaware. He is also a regular on the east coast LEGO fan convention circuit.
