Born on Long Island, NY, I lived most of my life in Tampa, FL, and studied six years in Chicago. I spend summers exploring the Appalachians, the Deep South, and the Wasatch Front, where I sleep on the couches and air mattresses of friends and family and haunt coffee shops. Stories in any form are my greatest passion, but I embraced the medium of writing in 2004. The following five years were spent crafting poetry and finding my literary voice while I pursued an undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies and worked in kitchens and retail stores. I am the author of The Quantum Fall of Thaddeus Archibald DuBois, a quarterly serial available on Amazon. You can find my articles, editorials, and reviews on GeeksUnderGrace.com. My biggest project, the Ark Series, sparked to life in 2002. I spent the next seven years contemplating the story's major plot elements. I broke ground on Ark's mythology in 2009, and began the first chapter of book one, An Autumn Veil, in October. I completed principle writing of An Autumn Veil in December, 2013, and immediately launched into book two. In my blogging, I focus on updating readers on the progress of my writings and pondering the crafts of fiction writing and criticism...typically through hyperlink-laden non sequiturs and references to the Simpsons.
