Daniel Spiteri is a semi-retired high school mathematics teacher and college instructor of sociology and education, who has published short stories and essays in various magazines over the years. Among those, Daniel published "Disney: Reconciling With a Multicultural Society" and "A Comparative Study of Karl Marx and Adam Smith", the latter published in the American Sociological Journal in 1986 and is still cited today. Mr. Spiteri holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Physics and Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley, and two Master's degrees, Sociology from Northwestern University, and Education from Cal State East Bay. Daniel was in the Catholic seminary for three years and is a licensed hypnotherapist. Daniel lives in California with his wife. Together they have three children and two grandchildren.
