Danny MacDonald grew up just outside of Boston, MA. He was an athlete who excelled on the baseball field and earned a scholarship to play in college. After being released from a handful of minor league baseball teams, he decided to pursue an acting career. Danny studied at the legendary Second City Improv school, started performing stand-up comedy, and appearing in any project that would cast him. His major claim to fame on the big screen, is playing a criminal who has his head ripped off by the biggest demon in cinema history in the B-Movie, "Little Red Devil". After Danny struggled to find work as an actor, he geared his focus towards writing. He secured the re-write job for Comedy Central's, "Mafiosa", which originally starred Ray Romano. He had a development deal with professional basketball player, Baron Davis' production company. And he was one of the writers who wrote a sequel for the Kung-Fu cult classic, "The Last Dragon", starring Taimak, among others. Unfortunately, most of his projects have sat on a shelf, but the web series he created, "My Delivery Guy", is a selection of the 2018 Miami Web Fest and 2018 Hollyweb Festival. Finding that there are too many people to rely on to bring his screenplays to life, he decided to venture into scribing novels and short stories. He wants to prove to an audience he can tell great stories as he continues to shape his craft. The biggest influence on his writing is author, Stephen King. He still jokes that his parents would discipline him by taking away his television privileges and had no choice but to read his dad's Stephen King novels to pass the time. He's lived all over the country in places like Washington, New York, Massachusetts, Florida, Georgia, California, and currently resides in Detroit, MI.
