Daria Gabryanczyk holds an MA degree in Modern Languages. She teaches Polish literature and Polish as a foreign language to schoolchildren, undergraduates and adults. Daria has worked for the U.K. Ministry of Defence Language Examinations Board, the University of Westminster, University College London, the European High Commission, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, United Kingdom Environmental Law Association, and many private sector companies. She is a Polish culture and Business trainer as well as a publisher. For 20 years, Daria Gabryanczyk has been running an online Polish Language School, Polish-Lessons, where she helps students master Polish and learn about the culture. Her hand-picked team of teachers, each holding master's degrees or PhDs in teaching Polish as a foreign language, offers both online group courses and individual lessons across various time zones. Apart from authoring Polish For Dummies, Daria also published the Polish Easy Readers series which are simplified texts of well known novels, plays, short stories etc. designed for everyone learning Polish and wishing to start reading in Polish.
