Darryl Vidal has been consulting for schools implementing technology for over 30 years. He has published eight critically acclaimed books on Educational Technology, Ed Tech Strategic Planning and Technology Project Management. His projects include district-wide implementations of VoIP, Wireless, Data Center HyperConverged Infrastructure, and Emergency Communication Systems. His primary instructional focus for over 15 years has been the ever evolving technology classroom. Mr. Vidal has developed the formal strategic planning and project management methodology known as MapIT. He is currently Principal Consultant for Tier 4 Tech - Education Services and Sr. Project Manager. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management and a Master’s Degree (MA Ed) in Education - Instructional Technology. He is a a 10th degree black belt in Kenpo Karate and appeared as himself in the original Karate Kid movie (1984). He is credited with inventing the famous Crane Kick.
