Dave Trabert

Dave Trabert is CEO of Kansas Policy Institute, where he does research and writes on fiscal policy and education issues. He is the lead author of Giving Kids a Fighting Chance with School Choice: Resolving the Social Justice Issue Perpetuated by Kansas Public Schools and What was Really the Matter with the Kansas Tax Plan: The Undoing of a Good Idea. His other published work include “A Five-Year Budget Plan for the State of Kansas,” “Student-Focused Funding Solutions for Public Education,” and “Removing Barriers to Better Public Education.” He graduated cum laude from West Liberty University with a degree in Business Administration.
