David A. Ogren

David A. Ogren's diverse interests in intercultural studies and travel have led him to fourteen countries worldwide where he has studied, taught and volunteered with numerous organizations. David holds a B.A. in Cross-Cultural Studies, M.A. in Muslim Studies, and an MTh in World Christianity. The more he studies, the more he realizes he does not know much about stuff in general. David has played and maintained guitars for over 30 years. Through various music groups and 3 toddlers, he has discovered that the road to guitar care is perilous and fraught with the hazards of unstable guitar stands and soggy diapers. His instruments have followed him around the world, traveling to climates as diverse as Pakistan and Scotland. Somehow, the guitars did not turn into a pile of kindling. He does not play "Closing Time" by Semisonic. He lives in Wisconsin with his wife and three kids, planning the next great adventure.
