David Alan

David Alan is an author of children’s and humor books. He writes children’s books that he wished had existed when he was growing up. He is a big fan of children having the most fun, well-adjusted childhoods possible, and adults keeping a childlike sense of humor and wonder. His humor books are hilarious and border on the absurd. Several years ago, David's husband, Eric, jokingly named David" T-Rextra" because of his short arms and extra-ness. The name struck a good nerve, and the rest is history. David lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with his husband Eric and their three babies (dogs), Natalia, Peach and Angela Basset Hound. He is also proud Papa David to toddleenager Maci, quite possibly the most perfect little person to ever walk the earth. He also enjoys arts and crafts, watching too much TV, trivia, and making up silly songs to sing to sing to the babies.
