David B. Roberts

Dr David B Roberts (@thegulfblog) is an Associate Professor at King’s College London, the lead on Regional Security and Development research in the School of Security Studies, and a Senior Research Fellow at King’s Policy Institute. He is also Adjunct Faculty at Sciences Po. Previously, David taught for King’s at the Qatar Defence Academy, and he was the Director of the Gulf office of the Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security studies think-tank (RUSI Qatar). His primary research interest focuses on the politics, foreign affairs, and international security of the Gulf monarchies and the wider Middle East.
