David Contreras

David Contreras was born in Bogota, Colombia, the son of German and Olga Contreras - an actor and a hair stylist, in 1985. His parents soon moved to the United States. At an early age, he was drawn to creativity in all its forms. It started in Kindergarten, when his teacher caught him selling his drawings to fellow classmates. In his teenage years, he grew as an actor and as an oil painter. In his early adult years, he progressed with his love of video production, thus pursuing a career in TV broadcasting and production at the University of Utah. Post graduation proved difficult in finding a career, so he decided to add to his creative nature and become an entrepreneur. Several companies/products in manufacturing, imports, fashion, tech, and most recently - entertainment and writing. "The American Dream" has always been a major focal point in all of his achievements, and now with his new novel, Wet Money Burns - the question or dilemma is, how far would you be willing to go to achieve the American dream?
