David Hancock

David Hancock, also known as YouTube’s Photography Professor, authors and produces camera and photography instructional videos that provide learning photographers with the basic skills needed to operate a camera. Known for his comprehensive, thorough, and well-explained camera manuals, Mr. Hancock also creates videos that teach photographers how to use specific films, and lenses, and incorporate techniques into their work. This book series uses his camera manual outline to provide a written companion to his video manuals. Mr. Hancock has more than 35 years of photography experience, more than 25 years of writing experience, and more than ten years of creating YouTube content with more than 1,000 photography-education videos on his channel, and he taught college English for four years. His instruction manuals and YouTube content combine those experiences to create clear, easily followed and readily understood guides that help photographers learn their tools quickly and focus on the important work of honing their creative vision and voice.
