I started writing children's stories about ten years ago but had none of them published. I only started again with this story three years ago. When my son suggested that I should write about the stories I used to tell him at bedtime when he was younger. "The Six Macs and The Slime Monster from Loch Ness" is about six Scottish early teens who find a monster in a cave and end up having an adventure of their lives. This is the first book of a series about The Six Macs, each one of my books has an environmental theme. The book that will be following shortly is called " The Six Macs and The Purple Orb" which is about saving a forest.
