David Koenig is editorial director for 526 Media Group, Costa Mesa, Ca. He received his degree in journalism from California State University, Fullerton. He has contributed to or been interviewed for articles in literally hundreds of publications, including The Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, Orange County Register, and Orlando Sentinel, and appeared on scores of TV and radio programs, for ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, Fox, the Travel Channel, and much more His eight books include best-selling "Mouse Tales: A Behind-the-Ears Look at Disneyland," as well as "Shooting Columbo: The Lives & Deaths of TV’s Rumpled Detective,"Realityland: True-Life Adventures at Walt Disney World," "Danny Kaye: King of Jesters," and "The 55ers: The Pioneers Who Settled Disneyland." He has also edited a number of books, including the Ultimate Edition of Randy Skretvedt’s seminal "Laurel & Hardy: The Magic Behind the Movies." David lives with his wife, Laura, and children Zach and Rebecca in Southern California.
