关于作者

As a father and school psychologist, my experiences has allowed me to learn first hand about the challenges and best practices of raising children. I began my career as a teacher assistant working at a school for children and teens with severe emotional and behavioral disorders which taught me more than anything I learned in a classroom. While working, I completed graduate school and eventually became the lead school psychologist at a private elementary school providing social/emotional instruction, conducting psychological testing and collaborating with teachers and families to ensure children's success. For the past fifteen years I've been a private practitioner focusing on topics such as anxiety, ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, school burnout and unhealthy family dynamics. About seven years ago I began writing articles focusing on what I directly heard and saw within my practice and place a strong emphasis on prevention rather than reaction, socialization rather than isolation and independence rather than reliance.
