David Nabors resides in the Pacific Northwest where he works as an engineer in the high-tech industry. Prior to his career in tech, he worked for a small newspaper until a stint in U.S. Army Intelligence led him into a career in electronics. Since then he has worked on everything from unmanned aircraft (his team won a Group Achievement Award from NASA for their work on pioneering unmanned aerial vehicles) to microprocessors (odds are good he worked on the CPU of the computer you are using now). He and his wife are both engineers and they raised four kids with lots and lots of questions about all kinds of stuff. After noticing that many books just talked down to kids he decided to create a series of books that talked up to them: simply and clearly but with the kinds of details kids crave. These books are for all the kids out there who want to know all kinds of stuff!
