David R Munson is an American writer, photographer, educator, and generally very curious guy based in the Tokyo area. With a background in fine art and commercial photography, he has spent decades honing his craft while developing a deep appreciation for the visual and written arts. His work is driven by a passion for discovery, storytelling, and helping others see the world in new ways. In addition to his creative pursuits and teaching, David runs unconventional walking tours in Tokyo, helping visitors experience the city through the lens of curiosity and active noticing.
