David Neill

关于作者

David Neill was born in 1951, and spent his first 40 years in the military; either the child of a military family or then serving for 22 years in the R.A.F. Those days have long past and since then he has worked in the Community Care Sector in Scotland. Then 18 months ago his wife phoned from Thailand to tell him, "I've found your dog!" His wife, Val, at that time was on a vacation doing conservation work at an Elephant Rescue Centre, near Chiang Mai. Here she meet a wee flurry chap call 'Tang Kao', and fell in love with him, and they adopted 'Tang Kao' and brought him to Scotland and at the same wee 'Tang Kao' was renamed, 'Thai'. 'Thai' fitted neatly into the family and became friends with David and Val's two cats, and David began telling tales to the people he worked with, Adults with Learning Disabilies. His tales were all about a magic wee dog, 'Thai', and this has manifested in David writing his first novel, 'Thai and the Ghost of Dunnottar Castle'. David has never writen anything before other than reports and the odd email, however, 'Thai' has inspired him to write his first novel, and he his now working on his forth novel, about the adventures of 'Thai'. So he hopes you enjoy reading the first of a planned six novels series, and for you busy people there is also a Kindle version for you to take with you anywhere. Thank you, David Neill
