David Nikel

In 2011, IT contractor David Nikel decided he wanted to do something different with his life. He gave up job-hopping in Britain, and moved on a whim to Norway. Several years later, he works as a full-time writer, and has never been happier. He's the publisher of Life in Norway - one of the biggest English language websites and podcasts about the country - a 400-page travel guidebook, and a series of eBooks all about living and working in this corner of the north. David now lives in Trondheim with his Mexican partner and is happily car-free and kid-free, which leaves him with (just about) enough disposable income to continue his explorations of Scandinavia.
