William David Noe has been writing for decades. He lives in NW Missouri with his wife and cats. He has two grown daughters. He attended MWSC and has worked as a landlord and handyman since the 1980s. Since 2020, he has also been a wood worker, specializing in carving pipes. Starting with poetry and short stories, he eventually graduated to novellas and novels, comic books and children’s books, and even a nonfiction book about home renting. His Trade of the Tricks novel series is about a bizarre group of monster hunters who sometimes are worse than the monsters they hunt. It is a humor/adventure/horror series that is four books long. In 2016, he co-founded InDELLible Comics, where they publish magazine sized, full color comics and short story collections for all ages. The foundation of the company is the characters used by the now defunct Dell Comics that went out of business in the 70s. This includes many Public Domain and Orphaned characters, including Lobo, the very first African-American character to have his own comic book. In 2021, he co-founded Dark Sister, a magazine sized black and white mature readers comic that focuses on the bizarre and macabre. He has several poetry collections, and believes that poetry should be practiced by all writers, no matter what they write. Even if the poetry is not published or ever seen by anyone else, it is an important writing tool to increase a writer’s vocabulary and manipulation of the language. David’s poetry is intended to be read aloud. For 22 years, he published a small 8 page monthly pamphlet entitled, TYPO Magazine. This proved to be an excellent proving ground for his unique style of storytelling. It enabled him to hone his short story craft and allowed him to produce several short story compilations of many genres. His books are published through Amazing Things Press, where he now works as an editor. His wacky humor can be seen throughout most of his books, but none so keen as the absolutely bonkers, Voices In My Pen. His children’s book, The Cat Spat is just the first of many he has planned, and his work can be found in several anthologies, along with fellow writers. He has also written a super hero fantasy novel (ZaZa the Mystic) and a western pulp novel (Alabaster Kid) that bend the genres in ways both unexpected and unexpected. ------------ Join the Noe bandwagon and help spread the words!
