David Shein

David Shein, MD is a primary care physician and educator with over 25 years of experience in primary care medical practice and teaching at Harvard Medical School. Since 2004, Dr. Shein has also been an adjunct faculty member at the New England College of Optometry where he teaches Clinical Medicine to second-year optometry students. 2020 saw the publication of the first edition of Clinical Medicine for Optometrists, which he edited along with Rachel Druckenbrod, OD, FAAO. Dr. Shein is currently in practice at Wellesley Internal Medicine in Wellesley, MA and on staff at the Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA and the Newton Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA.
