David Bynon is a Medicare and Information Technology expert and the founder of MedicareWire.com. He has been studying, analyzing, and writing about Medicare health insurance for more than a decade, including his latest book, "Why Medicare Advantage Plans are Bad". Since retiring from the U.S. Navy in 2007, David put himself on a new mission to make Medicare less confusing and help consumers find, understand, and choose the best coverage. After seeing how private Medicare insurance abuses seniors, by forcing them to divulge their contact details before giving them information about plans, Bynon vowed to make Medicare more transparent and accessible for America’s growing population of Medicare beneficiaries.
