Follow me to keep up with my new releases! I love writing fiction inspired by true events and nonfiction based on my experience as a ballet teacher and former dancer with Houston Ballet. As a proud New Orleans native, I’ve authored five fiction novels and several scripts. Two are optioned, and one finished in the top ten action/adventure category for the PAGE International Screenwriting Competition. Garage Ballet® offers nonfiction instructional books with easy-to-understand explanations of ballet technique and training, as well as short novellas that combine ballet knowledge with a winning teenage character, a ballerina in need of encouragement, friends, and help coping with family. While writing fiction and nonfiction, I discovered that reality often surpasses the bounds of imagination. Real-life locations stir my creativity and ignite a passion for weaving urban legends with historically accurate threads of region and time. In my writing universe, unpredictable is the only predictable, and everything can change in an instant!
