Dawn Wright

Contemporary romance/drama author, Dawn Wright, was born in a place that she refuses to share with people--with the exception of close friends. Hint: It is in the USA. Currently, she lives in Alexandria, VA. At the age of three years old, Dawn started to teach herself how to read and write. She's an eighties baby, so the first series she'd ever read was Sweet Pickles. And if she wasn't reading, she was probably listening to opera music, if not catching glimpses of The Young and the Restless--which she still watches to this day! Looking back, she refers to herself as a little nerd back in her childhood days. Since she grew up with two older brothers and and her mom, going to preschool wasn't an option on a single-parent budget. So, she had educational toys handy and endless Barbie toys that fell in her lap from an unknown source. However, just like today, no matter how much she likes to let her hair down, she always makes time for educationing herself. So aside from coffee, sugar and water, her other addiction is researching random people, issues or things. However, writing will always remain her top addiction and passion. Dawn Wright currently has a trilogy in the works. While it's already written and the first book, Capital Encounters, is already out, she is working on incorporating her editors' corrections for the second book, Capital Consequences. She loves forbidden and twisted storylines, since her belief is that fiction is fake, and we should have fun with it!
