Born in 1961 in Santa Rosa, CA. Graduated from high school from Piner High, Santa Rosa. Graduated from San Diego State University with a AB in Speech Communication. Graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with an MDiv. Married to the very wonderful Mindy. Worked in youth ministry for 30 years, sometimes full time, sometimes part time, in Young Life and as a youth pastor. Authored the "Bill the Warthog" series of childrens' books. Favorite authors; C. S. Lewis, Joseph Bayly, Raymond Chandler, Tim O'Brien, and Tim Stafford. Favorite films; Lawrence of Arabia, It's a Wonderful Life, King Kong (original), Singing in the Rain, and The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai. In 2016, my wife and I are on an adventure in 2016, visiting a church and a bar in every state.
