Deana Cook

Hello! My name is Deana Cook and I am Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years' experience in healthcare. I have two grown children and live in Franklin, TN with my partner and our two dogs. I wrote my first book of "The Adventures of Bella & Ruby" series about our 2-year-old French Bulldog, Ruby, and her anxiety. The last couple of years have been particularly anxiety-inducing for many people, young and old. I wanted to write a story that sparks dialogue around what anxiety sometimes looks and feels like, with the hope of cultivating more empathy toward those who don't always feel comfortable, while also sharing the undeniable cuteness of Bella & Ruby.
