Deana Perry

关于作者

Winner of the 2024 International Impact Book Award for Children's Christian Ministry, Deana Perry is a multifaceted individual, encompassing roles as a dedicated wife, nurturing mother, and seasoned U.S. Army combat veteran. Her academic background includes a Master of Arts Degree in Human Services Counseling with a specialization in Executive Leadership from Liberty University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of North Alabama. Additionally, she holds certifications as a John C. Maxwell leadership coach and a Commissioned Stephen Minister, highlighting her commitment to mentorship and spiritual guidance. Acknowledging motherhood as both her greatest challenge and most fulfilling role, Deana's journey into understanding the depths of faith commenced when her preschool-aged son, Boone, began questioning the world around him. Initially grappling with providing satisfactory responses, she embarked on a profound exploration of her own spiritual beliefs and connection with God. Through this introspective process, she realized the timeless importance of instilling a reverence for God in children from an early age, as well as the perpetual opportunity for adults to apply divine truths in their lives. Above all, she underscores the necessity of seeking divine guidance rather than relying solely on human understanding. Residing in Alabama, alongside her husband and their son, Boone, Deana's home is enriched by the presence of three dogs, two cats, and a lively flock of eight chickens.
