Deanna Cooper Gillingham RN, CCM is a leader in case management with over a quarter century experience in healthcare as a Registered Nurse and Case Manager. She uses her years of training and expertise as well as her direct and to the point writing style to make complex information easy for the reader to grasp. Her popular book CCM Certification Made Easy: Your Guide to Passing the Certified Case Manager Exam, now in its 3rd Edition, has helped thousands of case management professionals obtain their certification. As co-founder and CEO of Case Management Institute, LLC, Deanna is developing the case management workforce through her books, courses, and events. Her Foundations of Case Management Course provides nurses transitioning into case management with a firm foundation of the practice. Her Facebook group, Case Managers Community, provides a place for networking and support. And her annual Case Managers Cruise is a fan favorite, where she gathers industry leaders to provide continuing education to case managers while sailing the Caribbean Sea. Deanna has served on the Board of Directors of the CMSA Foundation, is a member of The Case Management Society of America (CMSA), Registered Nurse Innovators, Influencers, & Entrepreneurs (RNiie), The National Nurses In Business Association (NNBA), and Rotary where she currently sits on the board of directors for her local chapter.
