Debra Scala Giokas

Debra Scala Giokas is a marketing communications professional. She earned a BA in English, magna cum laude, from Stony Brook University and and also holds her MBA in management. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, the Public Relations Professionals of Long Island, and the Crochet Guild of America. She lives in the friendliest town on Long Island with her husband and their two dogs. She enjoys learning, writing and speaking about women in American history. She presents at libraries, museums and historical societies.
