Denise Mercado

Denise Mercado is an award-winning author, blogger, solo traveler, widow, mother, and grandmother. Denise was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and Plainview, Long Island. As a military spouse, she lived in many cities around the USA and abroad. Denise writes about her faith and all that she has learned and experienced in life. She loves to explore the depths of Christianity as she digs deep into the meaning of scripture and the writings of the Church Fathers. Her books have received awards from prominent organizations such as the Catholic Media Association and the Independent Author Network. In addition, two of her books have received the Nihil Obstat from the Diocese of Saint Petersburg, Florida. Denise has a Bachelor of Science from Campbell University, is an active member of Saint Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Palm Harbor, Florida, and an Associate with the Sisters of Notre Dame.
