Denise Wilson

Denise Wilson is an entrepreneur, aviator, oboist, and the founder & President of The Jet Agent. She is universally regarded in the aviation industry as an expert in the operation, management and maintenance of business jet aircraft. Denise has over 25 years of experience in all facets of the aviation industry. Her accomplishments include flying jets for both business aviation and airline operations. Additionally, Denise was the founder and CEO of Desert Jet, a company comprising aircraft acquisitions, sales, charter and management services, jet maintenance, and a popular FBO featuring a newly built, state-of-the-art private jet terminal. Under her leadership, Desert Jet achieved numerous accolades, including five consecutive placements on the Inc. 500 list of the nation's fastest-growing privately owned companies. Denise's entrepreneurial journey led her to sell her companies and concentrate solely on pre-owned jet acquisitions and sales representation. Her exceptional work within the top-performing sales organization in the U.S. garnered her multiple awards for providing unparalleled assistance to clients. Denise has taken her expertise to new heights with the founding of The Jet Agent. Here, she offers a concierge-style service, elevating the buyer and seller representation experience to a new level. With over 20 years of experience in professional piloting, Wilson is an accomplished aviator. She has held roles such as Airline Captain, Chief Pilot, Director of Operations and Check Airman. Throughout her career, she has flown a wide range of private and commercial jets, accumulating an impressive 9000+ hours of flight time and acquiring eight type ratings in aircraft such as Citations, Challengers, Hawkers, Gulfstreams, and even Boeings. As an active volunteer on multiple nonprofit boards and as the founder of the Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra, a nonprofit organization, she has demonstrated her commitment to the community. She is also an accomplished oboist. She is a member of the National Business Aviation Association and the Citation Jet Pilots Association. She has 15 years of experience as an NBAA Certified Aviation Manager and prior service as a director on the Certified Aviation Manager Governing Board. Furthermore, her achievements have been widely recognized in publications such as Barron's, Forbes, CNBC, FOX Business, and USA Today.
