Dennis McGuire

Dennis is retired after 50 years working on and under the surface of the sea. He has been a commercial diver and salmon fisherman on the inside waters and off the coasts of Oregon, Washington & Alaska. He fished on the Copper River for 28 years as well as doing underwater salvage work. He built and ran the Port Townsend Dive Shop, teaching over one hundred students to dive from beginner to divemaster. He served in the U.S. Army, 1966 thru 1970 including one tour in Vietnam. He is married to Pat, his partner of 43 years and navigator aboard Calypso on our honeymoon voyage, which is the Ballad of Calypso. https://www.balladofcalypso.com
