Desiré Cuevas

Desiré is a wife and a mom of two boys. She thoroughly enjoys being a mother and loves writing and illustrating. Desiré is the founder of DesireChrist Ministries. The ministry focuses on encouraging the body of Christ with the Word of God and assists people in need whether it be homecooked meals, housework, running errands or Intercessory prayer. As a result of growing up in a large family and her mother running an in-home daycare, Desiré has spent all of her life taking care of children. She knew she had a unique interest in children when she was a child herself. "My favorite aspect of life is seeing the world through a child's eyes; the wonder, the hope and the enthusiasm for life and new experiences make life seem brand new all over again." Desiré believes that all children are hungry for two things-love and approval. It is her desire that children would know the love and approval of Christ. It was in Christ that she received these for herself. After a powerful encounter with Jesus in June of 2011, Desiré's life changed with a new focus, way and purpose. It is her greatest joy to share Christ with others. The joy, peace, comfort, love and hope that Christ has brought into her life inspires her to share the good news in the hopes that they too would enjoy these great gifts.
