Diana Farid

Cybils Award-winning author Diana Farid writes for young people of all ages. Her multi-award-winning debut novel, WAVE, which Kirkus Reviews called “Rich, layered, and heart-rending,” was a Cybils Award winner for Novel in Verse, School Library Journal Best Book of 2022, Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection, and Golden Poppy Award Finalist, among others. Her debut picture book, WHEN YOU BREATHE, was an NCTE Notable Poetry book and a Eureka! Gold Award winner for nonfiction. Her latest picture book, THE LIGHT OF HOME, illuminates the displacement experience and ways we find home. Her debut board book, ALREADY ALL THE LOVE, honors the here and now for a new baby and mother.
