Having worked as a certified project manager in construction and maintenance for over 25 years, I did many procurements. When I was lucky, I had a procurement professional on my team who would do the procurements - and teach me how to do it better. Then I worked as a procurement professional who taught others to use project management in their procurement process. With this unique set of experiences, I wrote the book on procurement project management, "Procurement Project Management Success." I live in the US Southwest region. We enjoy mostly sunny days, so it's hard to sit in front of the computer writing every day. But having a deadline looming is very motivational - as all project managers know! I'm currently working on a fiction novel - a mystery. Or perhaps an action thriller. With romance. Maybe lots of romance. Anyway, stay tuned . . . !
