Diana M Hechler

Diana Hechler traces her passion for travel and especially all things Italian to a childhood in Italy and a father with an “itchy foot”. As a college student, she spent a magical summer backpacking around Europe with a friend. From then on, she dreamed of running her own travel company one day. That dream came true in 1999 when she opened the doors at D. Tours Travel. Since then, she has happily planned and produced countless adventures for clients seeking to explore the world in an authentic fashion. Yes, she earned a Master’s Degree in Law & Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, but she is convinced that planning great vacations with memories for a lifetime is a lot more fun and rewarding than serving as Secretary of State. Although she knows a LOT about European travel, she’s also a New Zealand Gold Specialist and a Premiere Aussie Specialist. Diana has been named one of the Top 25 Travel Agents in the U.S. by Travel Agent Magazine -- AND she loved being a contestant on Jeopardy!
