I love communicating in all modes: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. For over 50 years, preschool through doctoral level teaching allowed me to do that with joy. Then, my four grandchildren gave me the push to write for THEM. “Grandma, tell me a story.” How does one refuse that? I love writing about adventures for all ages. The Orb Adventures series are middle grade books based on a combination of personal experiences, people I have known, places I’ve visited, and a bit of wishful thinking- those things I would still love to do if given the chance or if metaphysics allowed! The STEAM 4 Littles series are picture books for children ages 3-7. These are also based on my travels and experiences in the areas of science-technology-engineering-art-math. All of the characters in my stories seek adventure and love learning through their experiences. They face many different kinds of challenges and interact with all sorts of people and things. They have big decisions to make and grow from their choices- good ones and maybe not so good ones. Every final draft is read by age appropriate children and their parents from around the world whose opinions guide final edits. Kids choose the covers. We all have the time of our lives.
