Dick Gould

关于作者

Legendary Stanford Men's Tennis Coach Dick Gould is tied for 5th place among all college coaches in all sports with 17 NCAA team championships. Every player over his 38-year tenure won at least one national team championship. He is also credited with revolutionizing not only tennis but Olympic college sports with aggressive marketing and innovations. When he retired, Stanford men's tennis was one of the only financially self-sustaining Olympic sports on any campus. In his book, "Anatomy of a Champion, Building and Sustaining Success in Sport, Business, and Life", 166 of his former players over nearly four decades discuss the culture of success Gould built and how they have applied those lessons in their lives and careers. Gould's first book, "Tennis Anyone?" is a classic on how to teach the game and one of the best-selling tennis books of all time.
